Day 1
Shelby and I made it to Paris around 6am this morning at thr overhwelmingly huge CDG airport . Thankfully we found a nice woman our age from Norway who knew her way around the trains and metros in Paris. She helped us in purchasing metro cards from the French machines and guided us to our stop where we luckily found our hostel.
We had 7 or so hours to kill before we could get into our room at the hostel so we downed a few espressos and walked around our entire area of the city. At this point we have been awake for about 30 hours and plan on going to bed well before 8 o'clock.
Tomorrow we need to find our way to a major train station to make reservations for our train to Amsterdam on Thursday, and we plan to go see the Eiffel Tower and the louvre. It's been pretty difficult to communicate with people here, but we have already added a handful of French words and phrases to our vocabulary.

Sounds great. I am sure you will both sleep well tonight. Watch out for the pick pocketers. They make a living off tourists.
